Education: Law studies at the Universities of Bonn, Toulouse, Freiburg and Lund. Licence en droit at the University of Toulouse in 1990. German first law examination (university degree) at Freiburg University 1994 and German second law examination (practical formation) in Freiburg 1999. Doctors degree in Germany 1998.
Earlier activities: Member of the research staff at the Max-Planck-Institute for foreign and international criminal law, Freiburg 1994 – 1997. Teaching at the centre for studies of France at Freiburg University 1995 – 1996. Joined Engström & Co in 1999. Partner since 2011.
Memberships and assignments: Rechtsanwaltskammer Freiburg (1999), Swedish Bar Association (2002), the German-Nordic Lawyers Association (Board member), the German Evangelic Congregation in Malmö (Chairman of the Council of the Congregation 2001-2010, 2015-).
Languages: German (mother tongue), Swedish, French, English.
Fields of specialization: German clients; company and commercial law, real estate and construction law, international private and procedural law, litigation and arbitration, debt collection and enforcement of foreign titles in Sweden, international succession law; board assignments, especially for Swedish companies with German owners.
